The farm also welcomes numerous day trippers, who can refresh themselves with a delicious range of snacks and day specials, and no fewer than 35 beers or a fresh cup of coffee with the region’s best apple pie. The farm shop sells delicious organic produce and sustainability is a matter of course: everything comes from their own kitchen, is fresh every day, organic and from the farm or the Kempen region.

De Buitenman is an ideal starting or resting point for/on various walking and cycling routes in the vast ‘De Utrecht’ estate and the border region. Choose from various package deals (for both groups as well as individuals), for which the farm collaborates with other farmers and artisans from the region. Nowhere else will you sample the Brabant Kempen region better or more ‘genuinely’ than here. Vegetarians and vegans have not been forgotten either, so you can be rest assured that you can come here with a whole group. For example, for an educational guided tour around the farm or for a dinner or lunch buffet. Enjoy the cosiness of the picnic meadow, while the ‘Smokkelaarsarrangement’ (smuggler package deal) is popular among adventurers.
Culinary inn
After exploring the exceptional countryside – for example, during a walking or cycling tour along the vast, beautiful fens such as De Flaes and Het Goor or over the surrounding heathland (breeding ground for extremely rare birds) – you walk back onto the farmyard among the chickens. After which, you can take a seat by the open fire in the inn during winter or enjoy the spacious patio in the summer sun. All far removed from the fast pace of modern life.
