That is something that dog owners also experience as dogs are allowed in the houses, the B&B, on the campsite and in the group accommodation! And that is certainly appreciated: ‘Added value: dogs are welcome, you walk straight into the forest, natural green surroundings, wonderful toilet and washing facilities, and a tavern on the site where you can get delicious food!’

Sustainable enjoyment in the natural greenery
‘De Negende Zaeligheyt’ refers to the ‘Land van de Acht Zaligheden’ or ‘Land of the Eight Salvations’: eight picturesque villages in the Kempen region that all end in ‘sel’. At this holiday park, you can fully enjoy the surrounding natural greenery and passing cycling and walking routes. Situated near the eponymous nature gate, you walk, cycle or drive straight into the greenery from here. Postel Abbey is just over the Belgian border, while the Cartierheide, heathland, literally starts on the other side of the street.

However, most guests come to this campsite for ‘Countryside, quiet & space: The countryside was extremely calming. We were woken in the morning by a squirrel walking over the roof, then you realise you are really in the middle of the countryside.’ In other words: here, you can wonderfully unwind and take time for yourself and for each other! Furthermore, De Negende Zaeligheyt has various group accommodation, so perfect for an enjoyable holiday with friends or family!
