Tilburg as a tourist attraction
The hotel is ideally situated in the Dwaalgebied area of Tilburg and just a stone’s throw from the Central Station. Visit one of the museums in the area, such as De Pont Museum of Modern Art, the Natuurmuseum and/or the Textielmuseum where you can learn all about the industry that Tilburg was built around. It was also here in 1917 that the famous art movement De Stijl (The Style) was started. If you prefer to get out and about, you can taste what is probably Brabant’s most delicious beer at Koningshoeve La Trappe brewery, enjoy the beautiful Brabant countryside in the Oisterwijk Woods and Wetlands or the Loon and Drunen Dunes National Park, while the internationally renowned theme parks Beekse Bergen and Efteling are less than a 20 minute drive away.

Wide target group.
Festival visitors, couples, groups of friends, families with young children and even business people make their way to Roots. As an intriguing alternative for a hotel or bed and breakfast, you can combine the comfort of a hotel with the sociability of a hostel. “I had a great stay at the hostel… it was very comfortable, affordable and fun ;) Everyone that I met there was very kind and hospitable,” commented Raifa from Pakistan.
