There’s a variety of activities to choose from on the site itself, plus Outdoor Park Reusel no more than a few minutes away, and the Beekse Bergen safari park barely a half hour. Cyclists will be certain to enjoy the award-winning ‘De Legende van Zwarte Kaat’ cycling route, while nature lovers will enjoy the Kroonvense Heide and the Cartierheide heathlands. Both nature areas are almost literally ‘just around the corner’.

Children will find something to amuse themselves with all day long, such as in the indoor or outdoor swimming pool, at the indoor playground, on the miniature golf course, on the air trampoline, at the recreation lake, on the play equipment, at the Kids Club or on the cross-country cycle track, where they can burn up all that energy. Energy that they can then replenish at the restaurant or snack bar. Although petting the alpacas will probably do the trick too!
Parents can enjoy time on the terrace, at the golf course or exploring the natural surroundings: ‘The campsite is full of natural beauty, bunnies, squirrels, various species of bird that gratefully make use of the bird houses near the caravans.’
Your own accommodation or rented
De Achterste Hoef offers plenty of space for your own tent, caravan or motorhome. You can even stay by the water or on a luxury pitch with private toilet facilities! If you don’t have your own accommodation, you can rent on site: from safari tent to luxury five-person chalet, from ‘Klapkot’ to bungalow or ‘Lotus Belle tent’, there are plenty of options to choose from!
Whatever you ultimately decide, you can enjoy being at the heart of nature in no time at all. In addition to the picturesque village of Bladel for terraces and shopping, there are other villages nearby, plus cities like Eindhoven and Tilburg. It’s easy to combine a stay on the campsite with a day’s outing to the city.
