Historic Ravenstein
The original building accommodating De Keurvorst is just as unique as the city of Ravenstein itself, with its picturesque houses, national monuments, fortifications and gates in the historic centre calling out to be explored on foot. Be sure not to miss the WiIskracht brewery, housed in a windmill, the ‘Leerlooijer’ tannery, or one of the two churches. A passenger ferry will take you over the Meuse River to the village of Niftrik; or else hop on a bike and take in the Keent and Herpse Bossen nature reserves, or visit the gardens of Appeltern. Let yourself fully unwind in the Meerkes Private Sauna, and enjoy the amazing wellness facilities offered.

Events and surroundings
Whether you’re looking for a splendid dinner, a pleasant evening by the bar, a stay in a room with every modern comfort, or a party with entertainment; De Keursvorst has it all. The three-star hotel is also an essential part of the city’s fabric, coming into its own during events such as the Rock op de Keien, Kerstival, Carnaval and the ‘Open Monuments Days’. You’ll find out why Brabant is so famed for its hospitality at the two monthly sing-along, when we all join in with everyone’s favourite songs, in Dutch or otherwise.
