Kitty Purr meetup | Paper Poetry

Kitty Purr is a monthly meetup that is all about mixing poetry with visual art while making new friends in a relaxed and friendly safespace. It’s a chance to learn, explore, and have fun while trying out new things.

It's already meetup #5 of Kitty Purr on the 13th of November! To celebrate this little anniversary we have something special for you planned. During this meetup we are engaging in origami and papercutting! Now you are probably wondering, 'what is papercutting?'. Papercutting is a beautiful technique to cut paper (surprise!) into amazing shapes and forms to tell stories.

This workshop will be under the guidance of illustrator and paper cutter Lisette Spee and origami creative Naveen Setty. As always we will also write together and discuss a little bit of literature.

* Important: All materials are provided, but feel free to bring (old) paper if you prefer.
