Culture and creativity in ‘s-Hertogenbosch

Culture and creativity lie deep within the DNA of ‘s-Hertogenbosch or Den Bosch, as the city is also called. Not surprising, with master painter Hieronymus Bosch as one of its most famous residents and source of inspiration.

Today’s residents of ‘s-Hertogenbosch give their own interpretation to the culture city – with concept stores and breweries behind monumental facades. And there is art, music and good food between the silos at the Tramkade. Culture enthusiasts run out of time with the well-known museums like Het Noordbrabants Museum and the Design Museum Den Bosch. Do not miss a visit to Saint John's Cathedral, the largest cathedral in the Netherlands and the eye-catcher of the city. Stroll through the picturesque Uilenburg district, navigate the Binnendieze underground river and taste the one and only Bossche Bol, a pastry filled with whipped cream and covered with chocolate fondant icing.
