Looking and doing
Housed in the former textile factory of the firm Mommers & Co., once one of the largest employers in Tilburg, the museum displays both the past and present of textile manufacturing. Besides the many alternating exhibitions and daily mini guided tours, you can roll up your proverbial sleeves during various masterclasses and workshops. During the ‘Sunday Workshops’, every first and third Sunday of the month you can take part in inspiring workshops led by the museum lecturers. During the ‘KunstKudde’ workshops, every last Saturday of the month, children from 6 to 12 years can playfully get acquainted with textiles.

Proud history
Workshops for groups can be reserved by request. The multi-lingual staff will be happy to tell you more about the options. Furthermore, (former) staff members will tell you passionately about their craft: “I enjoyed meeting the various staff members, including a chat with an old weaver. Their passion and pride in their work and the museum made the exchange an authentic and exceptional experience. […] I was touched by the wonderful combination of traditional craft and artistic possibilities of weaving.”
