Sadly, there is nothing left of Loondermolen today. Built in the 14th century, it was once a corn mill. The farmers from the surrounding area were forced to have to harvests ground here. In 1937, De Dommel Water Board bought the Loondermolen, and it was demolished. The mill house was preserved, but it was seriously damaged in 1940 when the Dutch army blew up the bridge over the Dommel.
