Located between the lovely villages of Hapert and Eersel, they have been producing cheese here for over 40 years according to traditional rules, while respecting animals and nature. And successfully, because De Ruurhoeve’s cheeses have won various distinctions during the national cheese selection. De Ruurhoeve does not only make young cheese, here you will also find wonderful cheeses prepared with herbs and spices. In the words of a regular customer: ‘I get delicious cheeses here that surprise my guests time and again. Champions such as young mature cheese and the fenugreek. Wow, what an amazing flavour.’
National, local and child friendly
Conscious customers find their way to De Ruurhoeve for the delicious and honest cheeses, meat, fresh farm dairy, various jams, juices, honey, regional beers and tasty delicacies, while passing cyclists gladly get off their bike for a cheese platter on the patio. Though a cheese roll and glass of buttermilk are also highly invigorating! If you are looking for a fun afternoon with the children, pop by spontaneously and let them learn all about the ‘from grass to cheese’ process. Reservations are not required.
