Wonderful countryside for cycling
Tourists and other visitors will really enjoy the many cycling and walking routes in the area around Someren. Well signposted intersections mean it’s almost impossible to get lost, as you make your way past some of Brabant’s loveliest and/or most impressive sights. De Pan Nature Reserve is an area of woods, grasslands and heathland with World War 2 and archaeological monuments, while Death Valley provides De Peel with fifty cycling routes past hundreds of impressive memories from the Second World War. With a total of 400 kilometres of cycle routes, De Peel offers something for everyone. The Strabrechtse Heide – located between Someren, Geldrop and Heeze – offers beautiful countryside and is part of the rural (cycle) connection to the technical and design city of Eindhoven. If it’s a taste of culture you are looking for, choose one of the monument routes through villages and the countryside.
