The watermill was probably built in the 12th or 13th century and served as a corn, oil and fulling mill. This grain mill’s fate was sealed in 1960 when lightning struck, and the ensuing fire destroyed the mill. Plans were drawn up in 2017 to rebuild the watermill, but it was never constructed.
