There are also delicious beers, which are brewed on site and available directly on tap, handmade ice cream, fresh bread daily, pastries, pizzas and that famous Brabant sausage roll. Nothing but enjoyment on the shared terrace or courtyard
The wheelchair-accessible, informal Fort Vught has a restaurant, brewery, café, food bars, shops and even a meeting room. Enjoy the hospitality and a bite to eat on the shared terrace or cosy courtyard, where you’ll share the space with entire families, young families, romantic couples, elderly couples and dog lovers. That’s right, four-legged friends are warmly welcomed. And with very little traffic – you can park for free nearby – children can play freely outside.
Embraced by nature
The historic fort is surrounded by the Gement and the Bossche Broek nature reserves and a number of fine hiking trails. Fort Vught is a hospitable, sustainable location where 400 years of history seamlessly blend with the modern, urban dynamic. The centre of ’s-Hertogenbosch is only a stone’s throw away, and an NS bike will get you to ’s‑Hertogenbosch Centraal station within fifteen minutes. More interested in the rich history of the area? Take the Linie 1629 cycling and walking route and learn all about the siege of ’s-Hertogenbosch. Alternatively, why not visit the impressive Camp Vught National Monument?
