"It's well worth the journey!”
Just seven kilometres from Eindhoven (and only twenty minutes from the airport), De Lindehof is located in the town of Nuenen, once also home to Vincent van Gogh. A visit to the restaurant can easily be combined with a trip to the Vincentre, Van Gogh Roosegaarde cycle route or one of the many locations that helped to inspire his work. Soenil himself draws his inspiration from life and everything in it, including music, films, art, childhood, fashion, colleagues, travel and love. Every one of his dishes is infused with passion and feeling for that extra taste sensation, something which guests just cannot stop talking about: "We drove up from Belgium and it was certainly worth the journey. […] After just a few bites I had the feeling that I had already experienced more tastes than in all the years before. And the best was yet to come!"
Brabant hospitality with Hindustani roots
Born into a traditional Hindustani-Surinamese family, preparing a meal together was the most important activity of the day. The enthusiasm for cooking that he took from those experiences he now combines with unparalleled expertise and enormous drive. Don't expect carefully weighed out quantities of food and ingredients, but pure feeling, it's what everything at De Lindehof is about.
