With that characteristic Brabant wink, the website’s headline reads: “The most whipped-up mini-museum in the world!” A unique location. Or is it primarily an activity? Whatever it may be, a mini-museum that highlights what may be North Brabant’s most famous delicious morsel (sorry, sausage roll!) in an original manner is definitely worth a visit. “Everything with a touch of nonsense”
During a fun interactive tour, you will learn everything about the Bossche Bol. You walk through seven different areas, at your own pace, with the aid of multi-lingual audio (Dutch, English and ‘Bosch’) and visual guides. And because (almost?) everyone loves this gastronomic masterpiece, the target group of the museum is very broad. Everyone from ages 5 to 105 is more than welcome to not only experience the Bol but also to taste it. Because ... naturally, coffee and a Bossche Bol are included in the admission price. Do book tickets beforehand; room is logically limited since it is a mini museum. Unfortunately, this also means that the museum is not suitable for the disabled.
Perfect for combining
Visitors to ‘s-Hertogenbosch are more than happy to descend on an outdoor café for a cup of coffee while shopping or after an interesting boat tour on the Binnendieze underground river. This is, of course, a situation in which a Bossche Bol simply must be present. You can make your day of shopping even more perfect: visit the Bossche Bollen Beleving (Bossche Bollen Experience).
And once you step outside again, satisfied and well informed, you will find the beautiful Gothic St. John’s Cathedral within crawling distance and the impressive Noordbrabants Museum within walking distance. Or: an ideal delicacy that you can fit in your active day out in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
