T56 is a creative collective building on the northeastern edge of the city, in the Vaartbroek district. The building was built as a car garage during the reconstruction of the 1960s, after which it has had many different users over the years and has been used as a creative space since 2007. In our cultural microcosm we have 15 studios and workshops, 3 halls for dance, rehearsal space and a gallery.
In our building we create space to allow art, design, culture and creativity to grow and flourish in a free and relaxed environment. The gallery space can be used for large-scale and/or grand projects. Not only to further develop ideas, but also to do presentations and exhibitions. It is also possible to follow workshops with the various users of the building, from urban dance to Pilatus, from Dervish to iron forging.
In the multicultural and creative city of Eindhoven, the residents give us the opportunity to further develop T56, so we give Eindhoven residents a building and space back to further shape themselves and their city.
