NEXT TALK: HOW TO CREATE IMPACT

We all want to create impact with our projects and films. In our Next Talks we regularly dive into this subject. This time with Hasse van Nunen, initiator of Impact Makers.

Hasse will share stories about the impact route of different projects that are interconnected with each other, showing  that you don’t always have to start from scratch. She will dive into impact projects and examples like Mijn vader, Nour en ik (directed by Wiam Al-Zabari), All is well (directed by Peter and Petra Lataster-Czich), and Writing Hawa (directed by Najiba Noori).

The talk will be hosted by Eline van Uden. Eline is a filmmaker and storyteller with a passion for bringing important stories to life. She is also a member of the team of BROET, a foundation that supports local filmmakers and creatives in the region of Noord-Brabant.
As an impact producer, Eline led the production of Dorp Zonder School, a documentary that sheds light on the challenges faced by rural communities dealing with the disappearance of local schools. As a result, the previously unknown issues of the small Limburg school were brought to the attention of the national government.
She recently directed Driven by Challenges, an online documentary series made in collaboration with Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). The series highlights pioneering women in science and technology, inspiring a new generation of female innovators. Her work focuses not just on groundbreaking developments but also on the people behind them, bridging the gap between technology and its real-world impact.
