Master sitarist and composer Anoushka Shankar is coming to Eindhoven for the first time! Born in London as the daughter of the legendary Ravi Shankar, Anoushka does not limit herself to traditional Indian music. She experiments with fusion, world music, and electronic genres, collaborating with artists like Herbie Hancock, Sting, and Norah Jones. In this concert, she will perform music from her earlier albums and tracks from her latest EP, "Chapter II: How Dark It Is Before Dawn." Anoushka began playing the sitar at the age of nine, toured globally, and developed her unique style, earning her multiple Grammy nominations, including Best Global Music Album in 2023.
