A poet thinks about the women he has loved over the years. But when it comes to love, nothing is what it seems. Especially not when the devil himself is involved… Reminiscing about his school days, Hoffmann thinks back to the love of his youth, Olympia, a model student in every sense of the word. Even as an adult, his love is doomed, when the dancer Antonia is taken from him too early. Meanwhile, the sensual courtesan Giulietta has her own plans. It becomes increasingly difficult to separate memories from fantasy. Will Hoffmann find the enigmatic Stella before it is too late?
