Paco Peña

More than 53 years after his first performances in our country (as part of the Holland Festival 1971), flamenco guitarist Paco Peña is coming to the Parktheater with his Groot Flamenco Gezelschap. In recent decades Paco has often visited the Netherlands, both solo and with various singers, guitarists and dancers. 

In SOLERA we see new, young talent supported by the older generation of musicians. They expect a lot from the young people in order to achieve the best results together. In this latest production, Paco is joined by two guitarists, a singer, vocalist, percussionist, dancer and two dancers. With musicians like Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger still performing, Paco Peña is among those over 80 who still give amazing performances and concerts. 

• Last year Paco Peña received a special award from the Circle of British Dance Critics for his achievements over his many years of career.
