Provisional program King's Day

Morning: 11.00 am Gathering of the children with their decorated bicycles at café Dientje for the parade. 
11:30 Departure of the parade preceded by Jachthoorn en Trompetterkorps Gemert. Children make a short walk through the center (Kerkstraat, Virmundtstraat, Julianastraat, Kapelaanstraat, Ridderplein).
11:45 a.m. Gather at Ridderplein around the flagpole. Arrival of Hunting Horn and Trumpeter Corps and parade with decorated bicycles.
11:50 a.m. Opening of King's Day. Joint hoisting of the Dutch flag. The National Anthem is sung by the Mignon Choir Together with clown Sassie, all children also make music. The prize winner of the bicycle race is also announced. Afterwards there is a snack for the children. End of program opening.

Activities in the center of Gemert: Afternoon: 12 p.m. There are no fewer than 100 stalls in the center of Gemert with something for everyone. Free market, children's market and the stores are open. They will have stalls in front of their doors with offers. With the games card, children can again play various games in the center. A completed game card competes for great prizes. These can be handed in until 4:30 p.m. at the Children's Square. The prize-giving of the games will be done at the Kinderplein XXL at 4:45 pm. Furthermore, in the center there will be music by young musicians, the act Happy2 and other performances. The center of Gemert will also be adorned by a street act provided by "youth theater Carrousel. This year our Kinderplein XXL is a real eye-catcher with various air cushions, face painting and children's music. Admission is free. 17.00 End of program - lowering of the flag at the Town Hall. Terraces remain open.

KINDERPLEIN XXL (Ridderplein) 12.00 Ridderplein: Horeca with lots of music and fun. Kinderplein XXL with all kinds of bouncy cushions and air attractions. Our children's square has never been this big! You can also get your face painted here and hand in your full game cards. 16.30 pm Last deadline for handing in game cards. 16.45 pm Distribution of the prizes of the game cards. 5 p.m. Flag lowering and closing of the King's Day activities. Terraces will remain open.
