jaZZcape

Every Thursday evening this fine group of amateur musicians makes a party of the rehearsal evenings in youth center Het Loesje on the Vesperstraat. There, under the inspiring leadership of musical director Dirk Bukkems, they work with great pleasure on building up and fine-tuning the varied repertoire.

For October 2, JaZZcape has put together a surprising program with beautiful swing and Latin numbers, with excursions to pop and jazz classics. Band singer Brigit van de Vrande will make an important vocal contribution and various musicians from the band will be happy to perform their solos.

It is nice that the program includes songs that are played by the band as a collective, as well as songs that lend themselves to a smaller line-up. It promises to be a musical, varied and cheerful party.
