Peace in the Park Festival Eindhoven 2024

Peace in the Park festival: Peace, environment, diversity and global awareness. These are the themes during the third edition of the Peace in the Park festival, Sunday afternoon in the Anne Frankplantsoen. Stichting Vredeburo is the main organizer of the event. The aim of the festival is to introduce visitors to various groups from Eindhoven who are 'working towards a more peaceful world'. With this, the organization wants to show that people can always work towards a better world, even in uncertain times.

In addition to dialogue and conversations, there is also room for dance, music workshops and poetry. The stage will feature folk, South American rhythms and music from the Middle East. For the youth, there are activities such as workshops on meditation and the Brazilian dance capoeira. The children can also paint and draw. The organization of the event calls on visitors to bring their own blanket for the 'peace picnic', which should ensure that different people enter into conversation with each other. Because we also want to live in peace with nature, the festival is waste-free. If possible, bring your own cup.
